Transfer to the hotel. Our representatives will meet you at the Zvartnots International Airport and take you to your hotel. After you have settled ay the hotel room and a short rest we will start the tour.

We will go to the city centre and start the main city tour from visiting firstly the Cascade. It is a waterfall-like monument in the heart of Yerevan, which offers a panoramic view of the city. There is also a modern art gallery inside the monument.

After you will continue the tour going down to the Opera Theater, the oldest street of Yerevan – Abovyan street and later to the Republic Square.

Lunch at the restaurant. After the lunch the tour comes to the end and you will be taken back to the hotel.

DAY 2. YEREVAN – HAVUTS TAR – GARNI – GEGHARD – YEREVAN

In the morning after breakfast we will head to Garni village tpt the symphony of stones (1401m).
Here we will start the hike to Havuts Tar Monastery (1622m). You will see the monument of medieval Armenian architecture – the ruins of the Havuts Tar monastery.

Trail length: 7 km
Relative height: 600m

After the hike we will go to Garni temple. Lunch at a restaurant.
Visit to the temple of Garni.
You will have the opportunity to visit the ancient pagan temple of Garni, the construction of which dates back to the 1st century BC.

Trip to Geghard monastery.
Inspection of the Geghard monastery.
The monastery complex of Geghard is considered one of the main attractions of Armenia. This is a unique architectural structure built in the 4th century.
Return to Yerevan.

Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3. MOUNT TEZHKAR – ARENI – YEGHEGIS

Trip to Tigranashen village.
Here we will start the climb to mount Tezhkar (1735m). In good weather, from the top we will be able to see Mount Ararat and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Reative height: 400m

After the hike we will start the trip to the wine capital of Armenia – Areni Village.
Here you will have wine tasting along with lunch in Areni Winery.
Trip to Noravank Monastery (XIIIc). Noravank is a monastery complex located in Gnishik gorge, right in the middle of redish cliffs.
After the monatery we will go to the Yeghegis village, to the Arevi hotel, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4. SMBATABERD FORTRESS – MARTUNI – DILIJAN

Hike to Smbataberd fortress.
Smbataberd fortress is one of the well-preserved fortresses of Armenia, from the
fortress opens a beautiful landscape on the Yeghegis gorge.

Trail length: 6km,
Duration: 3.5-4 hours

The participants of the hike will descend to the village of Artabuink, after which
they will continue their journey to Lake Sevan through the Vardenyan Pass, where
the medieval Orbelian (Selim) Caravanserai has been preserved.
The pass will lead us to Martuni, where we will have lunch.

After lunch we will go to Dilijan, where we will stay at a guest house.

Overnight in Dilijan.

Day 5. DILIJAN – LASTIVER CAVES – GOSH

Trip to the village of Yenokavan. From here we will start the hike through Khachakhbyur (Lastiver) gorge. In the gorge you will see caves with pre-Christian images.
In the gorge we will have stop at the Lastiver Desert camp where we will brew and drink aromatic warm tea over a fire. There is also a very nice waterfall near the camp.

After hiking in the gorge, we will head to Gosh village.

Dinner and overnight in Gosh.

DAY 6. GOSH – GIRL’S FORTRESS – VANADZOR

A trip to the village of Hovk, from there we start a hike to the Girl’s Fortress.

Duration: 3.5-4 hours

Trip to Dilijan for the tasty lunch.
Trip to the 3-rd big city of Armenia – Vanadzor.

Dinner and overnight in Vanadzor.

DAY 7. VANADZOR – HAGHPAT – KAYAN FORTRESS – YEREVAN

After breakfast we will head to Haghpat village, from where we begin the hike to the Kayan fortress.

Trail length: 3km,
Duration: 2 hours

After the hike, we will go to the Haghpat Monastery (10th century). Haghpat Monastery was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1996. Next we will have lunch at the Kefo restaurant.
The restaurant offers a picturesque view of the Kayan fortress.

After lunch, we will return to  Yerevan.

Dinner and overnight in Yerevan.
