Day 1-2. ARRIVAL. YEREVAN CITY TOUR – ECHMIADZIN
Transfer to the hotel. Our representatives will meet you at the Zvartnots International Airport and take you to your hotel. After you have settled ay the hotel room and a short rest we will start the tour.
At noon we begin a sightseeing tour of the capital. We will visit one of the largest libraries in the world, Matenadara, a rich collection of ancient manuscripts.
Passing Radio Yerevan we will get a beautiful view of the entire city at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat.
We will continue our journey to Etchmiadzin, the religious center of the country, the residence of the Catholicos, the head of the Armenian Church.
Inspection of the main cathedral (from 303),
Walk through the landscape in the park with beautiful cross-stones (khachkars).
Visit to the Church of Surb Hripsime (7th century).
The place of martyrdom of the legendary nun is a masterpiece of classical Armenian architecture.
In the evening you can visit cafes and bars around the Republic Square!
Overnight in Yerevan.
DAY 3. SKI TOUR: MOUNT HATIS 2540 M (ELEVATION GAIN 1030 M, 3.5 HOURS)
Today we are heading towards the northeast of the country. Along the way we will climb Mount Hatis (2529 m).
The views are inspiring – wide and smooth sides promise an excellent ski tour.
Then we will go to the Hellenistic temple of Garni, located on the edge of the Azat gorge.
Dinner at an Armenian private house in the village of Garni, where we can enjoy the hospitality of the family.
Return to Yerevan.
Overnight in Yerevan.
DAY 4. SKI TOUR: MOUNT ARA 2575 M (ELEVATION GAIN: 950 M, 3 HOURS)
Mount Ara rises about 20 km to the northwest: free forest, wide ridge with ideal ski slopes. We will soon reach the top. Looking to the south we can see Mount Ararat 5.165m, in the northwest we see the four peaks of Aragats, the highest peak of which is 4090m.

DAY 5. SKI TOUR: THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN ARMENIA, ARAGATS
The hardest day of the journey lies ahead. The hike will begin from the village of Aragats at an altitude of about 2000 m. Then we will go by snowmobile to the 2650 m mark. From there we begin our ascent.
About 1300 m must be overcome before we reach the top of the highest mountain in Armenia. In clear weather, our eyes wander over most of Armenia. There is a beautiful view of Mount Ararat and even the peaks of the Greater Caucasus, specially Mount Kazbegi (5047m) in Georgia can be seen.

A delicious dinner awaits us at the hotel in the village of Aragats.
(Climbing and skiing on Aragats requires hard snow and good weather conditions.
In case of bad weather, an alternative destination will be chosen.

DAY 6. SKI TOUR: MOUNT YEGHIPATRUSH 2825M (ELEVATION GAIN: 900M, 3 HOURS)
After a tiring day yesterday, we tried to make this day a little easier. First we will visit one medieval church.
After visiting the church we will start the ski tour.
After the tour we will go to Aghveran National Park, the national ski center in the country.
Dinner and overnight in Arthur’s Hotel.
DAY 7. SKI TOUR: MOUNT TEGHENIS 2854 M (ELEVATION GAIN: 900M, 4 HOURS)
First through the forest, then through the open spaces we climb towards the peak. Already on the climb we are looking forward to the descent so that we can leave ski marks on the untouched slopes!
DAY 8. ALONG THE ANCIENT SILK ROAD, MOUNT ELTUN 3100M
We continue to the southwest of the country – to the Selim Pass. This is the second highest pass in Armenia – about 2400m.
Today’s goal is the peak of Mount Eltun – 3100 m.
After a long rest at the top we go down.
Along the famous Silk Road we reach the only well-preserved caravanserai from the 14th century.
Let’s continue moving towards Vayk.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Vayk.
DAY 9․ KHOR VIRAP – YEREVAN
Now that we’ve completed six ski tours, we want to take advantage of our last day in this diverse country and explore the plains of Ararat on our way back to Yerevan. Here, according to legend, Noah planted the first vine after descending from Mount Ararat.
The Ararat valley plays an important role in the country’s viticulture.
Trip to the Khor Virap monastery.
Tour participants will visit the Khor Virap Monastery, located at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat. The temple was built over an underground prison in which Gregory the Illuminator, one of the seven Catholicoses of Christian Armenia, was imprisoned.
As a goodbye party, let’s enjoy the magnificent Armenian wine or cognac again!

Transfer to the airport.
