08:00  Start of the tour.
A trip to  Khor Virap Monastery (IV-XVII centuries).
Tour participants will visit the Khor Virap Monastery, located at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat. The temple was built over an underground prison in which Gregory the Illuminator, one of the seven Catholicoses of Christian Armenia, was imprisoned.
A trip to the Noravank Monastery (XIII-XIV centuries) located among the red rocks and a tour of the Noravank Monastery – a monastic complex that includes the Church of Surb Karapet (St. John the Baptist), the Chapel of St. Gregory and the Church of the Holy Mother of God.
Lunch.
Visit to the Cave of the Birds where the oldest winery in the world is located.
Later we will visit the Areni winery, if desired, we can do a wine tasting there
Back to Yerevan.

A trip to Dilijan – Haghartsin Monastery.
Haghartsin Monastery is located in the picturesque valley of the Ijevan Range. Tour participants will have the opportunity to explore the area and visit the main monastery church of Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God).

Haghpat is a medieval monastery complex in Haghpat, Armenia, built between the 10th and 13th century.
A trip to Kayan fortress. 
Kayan is a fortress and a former monastery of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the province of Lori in Northern Armenia.
A trip to Sanahin Monastery. It is an Armenian monastery founded in the 10th century in Sanahin in the Lori Province of Armenia.

09:00 A trip to Zvartnots Cathedral.
Literally ‘celestial angels cathedral’ is a medieval Armenian cathedral near Vagharshapat (Ejmiatsin), Armenia. Built in the seventh century and now lying in ruins, Zvartnots was noted for its circular exterior structure, unique in medieval Armenian architecture.
A trip to Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin.
Known in Armenian as simply the Mother See, is the governing body of the Armenian Apostolic Church and is the seat of the Catholicos of All Armenians.

Back to Yerevan.
