Armland Adventure Club organizes individual ascents to Mount Azhdahak (3597 m) – the Red Planet of Armenia!
Mount Azhdahak is located in the Geghama Range and is considered the highest point of the range. One of the mandatory areas of hiking in Armenia is climbing Mount Azhdahak.
Azhdahak is a mountain in the form of a volcanic cone, reaching a height of 3597 m, the presence of a crater lake gives its special beauty.
On the slopes of Azhdahak, you can see many petroglyphs that have come to us from the 5th-4th millennium BC, as well as vishapakars, that play a special role with their history and significance in our culture.
