Armenia is one of the oldest wine producing regions in the world and its wines are known for their rich and unique flavors. This four-day wine tour in Armenia is an excellent opportunity for travelers to taste some of the most famous Armenian wines and learn more about the history and culture of wine in this country.

Tour Details

Day 1. Yerevan

Transfer to the hotel. Our representatives will meet you at the Zvartnots International Airport and take you to your hotel. After settling in the hotel room and having a short rest we will start the tour.

Yerevan is one of the most ancient cities in the world, this year Yerevan turns 2805 years old, in order to understand the natives and their traditions we need to be close to the culture of that people. Therefore, we will start the tour in Megerian Carpet factory, where we will get acquainted with one of the most ancient folk crafts in the world.

12:00 Excursion to the Megerian factory

13:00 Carpet expertise. With the help of an instructor, you will have a unique opportunity to tie your own small carpet and take this special souvenir with you.

13:30 Lunch at the Carpet restaurant. We will try the most delicious “Yerevan’s dishes”.

14:30 After a hearty lunch, we will go to get acquainted with the most historical place of modern Yerevan.

15:00 YEREVAN ARARAT BRANDY-WINE-VODKA FACTORY is situated in one of the most picturesque places of Yerevan, in Hrazdan Gorge, on the territory of the former “Yerevan fortress”. The factory was founded at 1877. In 1912, this company was honored to become the supplier of his Majesty’s Imperial Court for the high quality of its product.

16:00 After tasting the delicious wine, we will head to a unique procedure. After the flight and an interesting eventful day, a spa soaked in wine and grapes awaits us. This is the most luxurious massage in ancient Armenia and is called “Divine”. Our body and face will be perfectly relaxed and prepared for a sweet sleep.

Day 2. Yerevan – Vayots Dzor – Yerevan

10:00 Breakfast in the hotel

11:00 – 12:00 We will go to the most beautiful volcano in Armenia – Vayotz Sar by helicopter. It is considered to be the greenest region of Armenia, we will walk down on the crater of the volcano and we will have a lunch eating Armenian national khorovats(national barbeque) right on the crater of the volcano.

14:00 Afterwards we will take a walk near the crater and go down on a paraglider.

in jeeps we will go to the oldest winery in the world that has been discovered about 4000 years ago.

15:00 Tour of the cave where the old wineries are located. Remarkable archaeological findings include an ancient wine production facility from the early 4th millennium BC, showcasing the earliest winemaking techniques.

15:20 Visiting the most mysterious cave in Armenia – Magellan.

16:00 Return in Yerevan.

18:00 We will have a wonderful wine evening in one of the most colorful wineries in Armenia. Accompanied by beautiful music, we will participate in the “Celentano” ritual. We will make preparations for wine in special barrels as they did in ancient times, we will enjoy delicious wines, various types of cheeses and a wonderful dinner near the grape fields.

Day 3. Yerevan – Goght

08:30 Breakfast

09:30 After the breakfast we will continue discovering the most beauiful pics Armenia. Excursion to the extinct volcanoes of Armenia. Mount Azhdahak is the third highest mountain in Armenia. It is also called the Red Planet or the Armenian Rainbow Mountain.

One of the most interesting experiences that will bring you a lot of emotions is a trip to the side of the Mountain in Soviet trucks. These are the only cars that can drive along these rocky roads, you will be transported to the old Soviet times and get a lot of adrenaline.

10:30 Hike to Mount Azhdahak. Along the way you can see many lakes in volcanic craters, colorful mountains, the landscape will change all the time and you will see all the beauty of the Armenian landscape on your journey.

From the peak of Azhdahak you can see the largest lake in Armenia- Sevan, it is also called the Armenian sea. There is an interesting fact, accordint to which, while looking from afar the lake is often confused with the sky. At the peak of the mountain there is the largest volcanic lake in kratar.

On the way we will have snacks and rest.

Day 4. Dreamy Domes – Yerevan – Aragatsotn region – Yerevan

10:00 Breakfast.

11:00 Let’s start the morning with a big burst of adrenaline.
By helicopter we will take an overview of Yerevan and head to the territory of the Armenian Wine winery. From a bird’s eye view we will begin our skydiving directly to the territory of the winery, where a hearty dinner with a author’s wine collection awaits us.

14:00 Excursion in the Winery.

15:00 Return to the Grand hotel.
